Growing Muscle Faster – Is it Possible?
So you have decided that growing muscle faster is the way to go. You have finally grown tired of having little confidence, or feeling weak and looking soft.
Well, I am here to tell you if your objective is to hit the gym a couple of times a week, lift weights for a few minutes here and there and gain a couple of pounds of muscle, then an average diet and a moderate workout routine may be enough. You might as well stop reading now and just get on with it.
But If you are serious about growing muscle faster, if you are committed to gaining strength and gaining muscle mass like never before then stick around and listen to what I have to say.
Advice on growing muscle faster
If you were to ask ten different people about the best way to build muscle mass you would most likely get ten different responses.
Most people do not know what they are talking about; others might simply be repeating things they have themselves been told, while others will tell you what has worked for them without considering that each will have different characteristics and needs.
And although there is no magic answer to growing muscle faster, no secret method to gain muscle mass overnight, there are certainly ways in which you can naturally speed up the process and see faster results.
The science of growing muscle faster
Let us first dig a little deeper into the science and physiology of muscle growth. The scientific name for muscle mass gains is muscle hypertrophy.
Anytime there is an increase in the volume of an organ due to an increase in the size of its component cells we can say there is hypertrophy. When the cells that make up skeletal muscle fibres increase in size, then we can achieve muscle growth.
It is important to note that not all muscle types grow at the same rate.
You have three main muscle fibre types
- Type I or slow oxidative, muscle fibres possess a low rate of fatigue and so are best suited for endurance activities such as long distance running.
- Type IIa or fast oxidative, muscle fibres have a higher glycogen content than Type I fibres and so have a higher fatigue tolerance. These are the fibres that become activated during high-intensity activities such as sprints.
- Type IIb fibres have almost no oxidative response and so depend entirely on glycogen reserves for fuel. These fibres activate during short-term and explosive movements such as those used during resistance training.
So how can we accelerate muscle hypertrophy?
Well, there are a few basic tenets to follow.
Let’s take a look at your nutrition regarding gaining muscle faster
First and foremost, you must achieve mastery over your diet. Nutrition is the key when it comes to muscle growth.
With improper nutrition no matter how much effort and hard work you put forth you will simply never see the results you expect.
To grow muscle faster, you will need a diet that provides a caloric surplus; this means eating high-calorie foods, but it does not say that you can eat low-quality foods.
Foods that are high in sugars, processed carbohydrates and saturated fats are counterproductive to fast muscle growth. Give your muscles the ammunition they need to grow by eating foods rich in lean proteins. Include in your daily diet salmon, steak, chicken, and pork; but avoid cured deli meats that are high in fat and sodium content.
Whole grains and vegetables will provide your body with the necessary fibre and micronutrients that it will desperately need during the hypertrophy process. Other high caloric foods to consider are legumes and nuts such as almonds, peanuts, pecans, and walnuts.
Consistency in hitting the gym
Next thing you must do to ensure the fastest muscle gains possible is to be consistent. You need consistency in everything you do but especially in your routines.
Whether you choose to work out three times a week or five times a week, you cannot afford the luxury of skipping sessions. You need to cause muscle fatigue and micro-tears in your muscle fibres to activate hypertrophy.
If you get in the habit of skipping sessions, your musculature will just adapt, and growth will become stunted.
Supplementation required to gain muscle fast
And last but certainly not least, if your goal is growing muscle faster then you must supplement. Diet alone will not cover all your body’s micronutrient needs, and so a solid supplementation plan will be needed to fill those gaps.
Here is what supplements we suggest for growing muscle faster
Look to include in your supplement stack something like CLINICALLY DOSED TEST BLACK TESTOSTERONE GEAR from the folks at MUSCLESPORT.
TEST BLACK has been created with a singular purpose, and that is to enhance all things testosterone in you. TEST BLACK’s expertly designed formula is composed of painstakingly chosen and dosed ingredients.
It comes with just the right amount of Boron, 5-Alpha-Hydroxy-Laxogenin, Zinc, Magnesium, Vitamins B6 and D3, Nitrosigine Arginine, and natural extracts such as LongJax®, Maca, Horny Goat Weed, Ashwagandha, Urtica Dioica and Safed Musli.
All of these ingredients possess synergy in their properties. They promote growth factors, protein synthesis, induce anabolic states, suppress estrogenic secretions and boost testosterone production.
For your caloric needs, feed your growing muscles with KODIAK’s BEARFOOD ADVANCED SUPERFOOD CARBOHYDRATE COMPLEX: This excellent product is the best when it comes to providing the most efficient energy-yielding nutrients.
